Abigail Mitzel MSN, APRN, FNP-BC

During her experience as a nurse, Abigail enjoyed working with patients throughout the entirety of their treatment process, which inspired her to become a nurse practitioner.

Abby began her career in nursing in 2016 at Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center on the Telemetry Unit. In 2023, she became a board-certified family nurse practitioner, graduating from the University of Nevada, Reno.

The field of gastroenterology has been a special interest to her due to the many different organs and body systems involved. Additionally, she has had personal experience with multiple loved ones dealing with a variety of GI issues, which drives her to provide compassionate and high quality care.  She is dedicated to lifelong learning and passionate about advocating for her patients.

In her spare time she loves to be outdoors and spend time with her family.

She is proud to be a member of the Digestive Health Associates team as she is inspired by their vision and mission.
