With nearly 20 years of experience in business management, Nelson Velasquez found his true calling in the medical sector early in his career. His journey led him from the corporate world to Digestive Health Associates, where he has passionately dedicated himself to creating a warm and welcoming environment for patients and staff alike. From day one, Nelson’s mission has been to ensure that every individual—whether provider, staff, or patient—feels valued and cared for, emphasizing that they are not just a number but a cherished part of the community.

 

Guided by his motto of “quality over quantity,” Nelson believes in the importance of fostering a supportive workplace that prioritizes work-life balance. He understands that a happy team translates to better care for patients, and he continually advocates for this principle within the practice.

 

Outside of work, Nelson is a devoted family man who spends much of his free time immersed in the world of soccer. An avid spectator of professional teams, his greatest joy comes from watching his son and daughter thrive in the sport. As a present husband and father to all his children, he cherishes the time spent together, embodying the values of love and support that he promotes in his professional life.
